About The Community Family Adult Day Care
Founded in 1978 by families and professionals seeking alternatives to nursing home care, this nonprofit adult day program was one of the first in Massachusetts to offer community-based support for older adults. It opened one of the nation’s earliest Alzheimer’s-specific day health programs in 1981, a model it continues at its Medford center.
