How ChooseCare lists and ranks services
Which businesses are listed
We list businesses whose public Google Business Profile files them as an elderly care service, such as memory care, in-home care, home health, assisted living, adult day care, hospice or nursing home care, and whose own website or profile confirms that is what they do. A listing is tagged dementia care when the provider’s own website or category says it cares for people living with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
Where each fact comes from
Address, phone, opening hours, Google rating and review count come from the provider’s Google Business Profile. Descriptions are written from the provider’s own website. Review summaries are written from the provider’s public Google reviews and say how many reviews they are based on. Website previews are screenshots of the provider’s homepage.
What we do not check
We do not inspect services, verify state licenses, or confirm prices or availability. Always check a provider’s license with your state licensing agency and confirm costs and availability directly.
How results are ordered
Requested care type and distance from the place you searched lead. Listings with a website preview are shown before those without one. Sponsored placements, if any, are labelled and kept separate from organic results.
