We cannot advise on an individual’s care
ChooseCare is a directory, not a care provider or a licensing agency. For advice about someone’s care, start with their doctor, the Eldercare Locator (1-800-677-1116) to reach your local Area Agency on Aging, or the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline (1-800-272-3900).

If you are worried that an older adult is being abused, neglected or exploited, contact Adult Protective Services in their state. Concerns about a care facility can also go to the state licensing agency or the Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
