Independent care discovery

Clearer choices about dementia and elderly care.

ChooseCare helps families compare memory care communities, in-home care agencies, home health providers, assisted living, adult day programs and hospices across the United States, with a particular focus on care for people living with dementia. We are an independent directory: not a care provider, not a licensing agency and not a government service. We do not carry out care assessments and we do not give medical, legal or financial advice.

Publisher and accountability

This website is managed by NO IDEA GROWTH LTD (company number 16359289). Corrections and complaints can be sent to [email protected], and we aim to reply within five working days. See also our contact page.

Where information comes from

Names, addresses, phone numbers, ratings and review counts come from each provider’s public Google Business Profile. Descriptions are written from the provider’s own website, and review summaries from its public reviews. Website previews are screenshots of the provider’s own homepage.

What a listing is not

A listing is not an endorsement, and we have not inspected any service. Care homes, memory care and home care are licensed by each state, so check a provider’s license with your state licensing agency and ask about dementia training, staffing, availability and full costs before agreeing care.

How we write

Listing descriptions and review summaries are drafted with the help of software from the provider’s own published material and public reviews, then checked against that source material. If a description is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

How ranking and payment work

Organic results use the visitor’s location, filters and chosen sort order. Providers cannot buy a recommendation badge or an undisclosed place in organic results.

ChooseCare may charge for optional provider tools or clearly labelled advertising. Paid placements are marked Sponsored, kept separate from organic matching and never presented as evidence of quality or suitability.

If something is urgent

If someone is in immediate danger call 911. If you are worried that an older adult is being abused, neglected or exploited, contact your state’s Adult Protective Services. The Alzheimer’s Association helpline is open 24/7 on 1-800-272-3900.
